WHAT WE'RE ABOUT
Everyone should have the chance to play the game we love
We founded Brent Valley Golf Academy with one goal in mind: we love the game of golf and we want to give as many children a chance to play as possible. Brent Valley Golf Academy is a registered charity based at Brent Valley Golf Course. Each year we run a programme where we reach out to children in our local area and offer them the chance to start playing golf. We give them a set of clubs and all the other equipment they need and we run coaching sessions with our professional coach, Warren Harris, and a group of volunteers. Thanks to our partners' generous support, it's all free for the children.
We're open for applications for our 2024 programme, so if you know a 13-16 year-old who might like the chance to get into golf, send us a message or click on the Apply button in the Programme page. We select our Parakeets on the basis of their enthusiasm for the game, how much we think they will benefit from the programme and their suitability for the game. We prioritise children who wouldn't normally have the opportunity to try out golf.
